Blerim Latifi explains NASA photos from his perspective

Blerim Latifi, professor of philosophy at the University of Pristina, commenting on NASA photos, has said that “people who in their lives have never left their country, in time develop the illusion that their very existence is the center of the world, that there is nothing important beyond the hills, that everything [...]
Through a Facebook post, Latifi stressed that centuries of humanity has had such an illusion of home, planet Earth, because man was unable to get rid of the earth, to get out of its narrow perspective”.
Copernicus's further <x0... philosophy and modern science have brought down this illusion. The Earth is not the center of the universe, but it is not the center. The universe is endless and our planet on it is just a trivial particle, and perhaps life itself in a biochemical accident” wrote Latifi.
“Now NASA with its advanced technology is allowing us to see and feel the vastness of the universe. This does not only cause awe, but also fear and uncertainty among people” has continued. “Those who feel frightened and insecure by this vastness always tend to go back to their old level's security and trust. Therefore, despite advances in scientific knowledge, old beliefs will continue to live among the people”.
Latif has also quoted Hobbes, who has said that the human being's basic “experience is the need for security”, according to Latif “this need is then covered with illusion”.
