As seen by the billboard attached about 64% of the polls in Albania are totally unhappy with the price rate, as they consider it high and affordable with their income.
Albania had the highest percentage of people who were very concerned about prices of about 64% compared to the regional average (52%). Data from the billboards shows that 92 % Albanians are concerned and unhappy with the price level, while 84% of Bosniaks -- 72% of Serbs, 59% of Kosovars, 84 % of Montenegrins -- feel that way.
Albania had no citizens who considered the price rate normal, while in other countries in the region, this category ranged from 1 to 10%.
Poll data shows that Kosovo Albanians had the lowest levels of discontent for prices in relation to countries in the region, while Albania's Albanians with the high ones.
Statistics of states show that Albania had the lowest rate of price hikes this year. In May, inflation in Albania was 6.7%, while in Bosnia 14.4%, in Serbia 10.4%, in Montenegro 11.7%, Macedonia 11.9, and Kosovo with 12.5%.
The World Bank noted that recently, the Consumption Awards Index (IQK) in the Balkan region does not necessarily reflect the inflation experienced by the poorest families, as their production of expenditures differs from that of average families and this is the most obvious in Albania.
Povertyier decill families systematically experience inflation higher than the average and richer families. In the case of Albania and North Macedonia, the ICK reflects more closely the composition of consumption of households richer than average households.
The highest inflation facing the poor partly reflects the higher weight of food expenses. For an average family in the Western Balkans, food is the largest category of expenditures, which range between 28 percent of total expenditures in Serbia, 44 percent in Albania and 52% in Kosovo.
The weight of food in monthly expenses is higher among the poorest families, which cost up to 78 percent of their total consumption expenses for food.
According to the official ICK, in the entire region, food prices rose faster than in 2021, the total basket of goods tracked by inflation, except for northern Macedonia. /Monitor. al
