Former Health Minister Armend Zemaj has said that the high number of cases with COVID-19 in our country is disturbing.
But the most disturbing one sees the approach of the government and the Health Ministry in relation to increased cases, stressing that more calls for vaccines had to be made.
While talking about the amount shared by the government of 5.5m euros for health staff that has contributed at the time of the pandemic, Zemaj has called it charity, saying the 60-euro payment is an insult.
Zemaj has criticised the government, which has no health management programme, even after nearly a year and a half in government.
He has also responded to Health Minister Rifat Latifi, who declared that “when I see health is not a top priority, I return to America”.
You're the one who came back, but we don't have anywhere to go back. We live here and here we are building the future and trying to make our doctors stay in Kosovo” was the Zemaj response to Latifi.
