As they say, the reasons for the proposed conclusion of the agreement between the Government of Montenegro and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania for the opening of the Sveti border point, Nikola Pulaj, for international passenger road flow are regional improvement and European traffic infrastructure, with the desire to improve the movement of citizens between the two states and facilitate traffic across the common state border.
As explained, signatory countries at the joint state border would open a joint border point for international passenger road traffic Sveti Nikola (Montenegro) ♫ Pulaj (Republity of Albania), across the Bojana River, on Ulcinj Velipoj Street.
The ZGP will be built on the territory of the Republic of Albania, at the site called Pulaj.
The location of the ZGP and its technical parameters will be determined by the Joint Commission of the signatory sides. The ZGP begins operating after construction of the Interstate Bridge, connecting the Ulcint road to Sveti Nikola ledoj Velipoj, building the common border point, and completing conditions for the normal functioning of border services of signatory countries.
