“We know that there are some dead” and some injured “”, Thomassen said at a news conference, adding that the act of terror cannot be ruled out.
“We have no information that others are involved. That's what we know now”.
He gave no further details about victims or suspects, or how many people were killed or injured.
The mall where the event took place is one of the largest in Scandinavian.
The principal hospital of the Danish capital, Riggshospitals, has accepted a small <x0 Group of patients” for treatment, a spokesperson for Reuters said. The hospital has called additional staff, including surgeons and nurses, the spokesman added.
The shopping mall is on the outskirts of Copenhagen, just opposite a subway line connecting the city's center to the international airport.
