By 2023, pre-school instruction in Kosovo becomes mandatory

This is one of the decisions made in the Kosovo government today on the occasion of adopting the Education Bill in Early Childhood.
Education Minister Arberie Nagavci said that with the adoption of this bill, a step towards overall development of the educational, social and economic education system is also marked.
Nagavci said that it is very happy that the Early Child Education Bill has been successfully completed.
Under this bill, we will arrange for our younger ones, offering education in all forms of organisation from birth to age 6”, the Education Minister said.
Among other things, the bill will include intersectal co-ordination, family education, nutrition, the creation of food menus, insurance and regulation of academic material, monitoring educational work and nanny skills.
Currently, the mandatory lesson in Kosovo is from first to ninth grade.
However, for now, not all schools in the country apply pre-school instruction.
