Over 100 citizens poisoned by water in Han, Elez, I KSHPK appears with notification for analysis

Kosovo's National Institute of Public Health and the Health Ministry have come up with an announcement about cases that have sought medical assistance at the Main Centre of Family Medicine in Han and Elez.

This report shows that over 100 people have sought help in the WKMF, and the symptoms have been the same - powdering, vomiting, and fever, the news.net writes.

The first doubts lead to the fact that these individuals have been poisoned by a source of suspected drinking water.

Patients are mainly from the village of Goranca, Globocica and Sqisht.

According to this report, in samples taken for bio-chemical analysis, in addition to riots in two cases, parameters are normal, but water samples for bacterial analysis have also been taken and the public will be announced after the results.

IK The KPS has recommended that the water used for drink be passed on before use but that water supply not be stopped for other causes.

After receiving information from Elez's DSHMS Director of the Elez Inn that from last night over 100 people have sought medical assistance at the QKMF of Elez's Hanin, the team of the Regional Public Health Centre has appeared on the ground and has been informed that the overwhelming part of these people are from the village of Goranca and the rest from the villages of Globovac and Sequisht.

The people who show up have the same symptoms: stomachs, vomiting, fever.

The suspicions of DSHMS and KKMF director are based on the fact that the number of people seeking medical help from the village of Goranca since June 28th, when a new source of drinking water allegedly contaminated has also been released into use. This source, along with that preliminary one, flows into the same reservoir. The rest of the village's residents are supplied with water from the source of Globocica.

Teams on the ground have been informed that the village's source Goranca is not monitored by the CRU-Bifurkaciation, while the Globocica's one is.

Today's water samples for physical-chemical analysis except for turbulence in two cases result within normal parameters.
