The Energy Regulatory Office, reports the opinion that the Supreme Court through the ARJ Act No.45/2022, has changed the Court of Appeals' decision and the Constitutional Court's Act in Pristina, and has refused to issue the plaintiff's request to delay the execution of the Energy Regulatory Office's decision.
Through this Supreme Court Act, the Energy Regulatory Office Board's decision, taken on February 8, 2022, remains in force.
As we noted earlier, the Energy Regulatory Office Board has correctly implemented the legal provisions in force and exercised functions independently.
The ZERE board recalls that fixed prices are guaranteeing stability and security in the energy system, therefore reflecting the costs of the system. Consumer protection and the entire energy system are essential for systematic and long-term solutions.
