This is an artillery war now”, said Vadym Skibitsky from Ukraine's military intelligence. The front lines are now where the future will be located, he told The Guardian, “and we are losing in terms of artillery”.
Everything depends on what the West” gives us, Skibitsky said. “Ukraine has a piece of artillery against 10 to 15 of Russia. Our partners have given us only 10% of what they have”.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said last week that 60 to 100 Ukrainian soldiers are being killed every day and another 500 are injured. Ukraine has kept the total number of soldiers killed in the conflict secret.
