“The funds will be directed to the state budget to finance priority spending, in particular to secure priority social and humanitarian spending”, the ministry says.
Ukrainian Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko said he was grateful to the government of Canada “for its steadfast support for Ukraine in the fight for our freedom”.
He also added, “This decision shows once again Canada's leadership in supporting the Ukrainian people and the crucial deadline to help Ukraine”.
