The parallel municipality in northern Mitrovica has divided 10 dwellings built by the Government of Serbia, for members of the Kosovo Police, which serve in that part of the country.
Kosovo sources have indicated that some of the policemen and superiors who benefited and settled in these residences a few days ago are Lieutenant V. Mirkovitch, then J. Nicolek, S. Jovanovic, D. Ziviq, M. Stevitch, etcetera.
According to these sources, the residences are located in various locations in northern Mitrovica, respectively, on the Vejvoda Putnikı Street, the owner of which is Radulla Steviq, which is on the US State Department's list of sanctions.
The KP ruled that it has tried to get any statements about this issue from Kosovo Police spokesman for the northern region, Branislav Radovic, but contact with it has been impossible.
It is noteworthy that Serbia from its 2022 budget has allocated more than 100m euros for financing parallel institutions in Kosovo, both in the areas of politics, security, social welfare, education, health and other areas.
Otherwise, these parallel structures in Kosovo with particular emphasis in the north, Serbia is not raising and funding for no reason, because the main goal of official Belgrade is that these structures legalise in the future through the creation of the Communist Association.
