Vladimir Andonov, 44-year-old Wagner Group fighter, was shot by a sniper near Kharkiv during a 5 June mission, Russian media have said.
Andonov was known by Russians as Wakhau or as the volunteer from Burythiatı according to the region where he came from, but by Ukrainians he was known as the host of the massacres committed during the first Russian invasion in 2014.
His death was confirmed by Zehambal-Zhamso Jeanaev, head of the region from which Andonov came, who spoke to the Russian newspaper Moskovskij Komsomoletts.
Ukraine personally accuses him of participating in the massacre of prisoners of war in the village of Logvinovo and of killing civilians in Donba. /Periscopi/
