The doctor's student, Chris Barker, who led the research, said that “it was a big animal”.
The remains, which included the vertebrate tail and the basin, were discovered southwestern off the coast of Isle of Wright in the United Kingdom.
It has been a giant animal, exceeding 10 meters in length and possibly several tons in weight”, Barker said.
Based on some of the dimensions, the remains seem to spread one of the biggest dinosaurs ever found in Europe - perhaps even the largest so far”. /Periscopi/
