Nice little words, nice pictures, and imagine how much better it would be if the beautiful promises were followed by a nice delivery... But we Albanians aren't as nice to give up! So we will continue and work even more to make Albania a good member of the EU”, he wrote on Twitter.

Before the summit, Rama has voiced pessimisticness and has spoken confidingly to reporters before the European Union leaders' summit with leaders of the Western Balkans. He said that “Bulgaria, a NATO member country, has kidnapped two NATO member states -- Albania and Northern Macedonia” -- not expressing any optimism that the EU would open membership negotiations.
