The Basic Prosecutor in Pristina has announced that the General Department has filed a request for the appointment of the detention measure to the competent court, to the V.M. and A.D. defendants, in the direction of criminal acts “Kest treatment during the exercise of official duty or public authorisation” and “The light bodyisation”, from Article 195 and 185 of the Kosovo Republic's Penal Code.
According to the request, there is suspicion that on June 15, 2022, about 10:40, at the Police Station in Fushe Kosovo, the defendants, in the quality of police officials, in co-ordination, had physically and mentally mistreated a person (injuring) so that while the defendants had stopped the injured in the town of Fushe Kosova due to a fight in traffic, the same had received the documents and had asked him to come to the police station, as he had arrived at the station, the injured in a office and during the paper, the defendant had originally offended and then physically assaulted a victim.
The defendants, under the prosecutor's order, are under the 48-hour ban from 16.06.2022.
