Prescribed detention measure for father by Podujevo, who allegedly killed the boy

The grave event took place Monday in Peran, Podujevo, where media reports show that the motive for the murder relates to disagreements over a property between the parties.

Pristina 15 June 2022 ) The Foundation Court in Pristina has decided on the request of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina for the appointment of the detention move against the N.S. indictee due to suspicion that he committed a serious murder by Article 173 paragraph 1.3 and ownership, control or unauthorized possession of arms by Article 366 par.1th Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

The judge of the preliminary procedure has approved the state prosecutor's request for the appointment of the detention measure as based and has assigned the same measure of detention for a month.

The judge of the preliminary procedure, in case of assessing the circumstances for determining the detention measure, estimated that by any other alternative measure, successful development of the criminal procedure cannot be achieved, the avoidance of the escape risk, as well as the impact on witness statements and the collection of material evidence on this criminal case, respectively.

Against this act, the parties are entitled to complaint at the Kosovo Court of Appeals.
