The institution's spokeswoman, Ana Pisonero, has said it is a protracted process and is now awaiting the Council of Ministers.
At a media conference, Pisonero said some member states have continued concerns over some issues such as combating corruption, false claims on asylum and document security.
On our side, the Commission stands ready to give support to the work between member states and Kosovo authorities in order to resolve these questions”, it has stated.
