Opposition MPs are complaining that the position is not adopting bills proposed by the latter for political, biased and arrogant resentment.
According to them, the position is being unprofessive, and it is not interested in compromising on issues of interest to the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy (PDK), Mergim Lushtaku, in an interview for Online Economics has said that although the proposals of power that have been in the best interests of citizens have been approved, the latter has not voted pro for resentment and arrogance, only because they have proposed a specific bill.
Unfortunately, the position other than not showing professionalism and ability to solve problems through bills is also being arrogant and ignorant in comparison to supporting opposition bills even if they have no electoral excuses. We have seen that the VV proposed earlier that it would remove taxes on Kosovo's essential products that are affecting the lives of citizens because of the cost of electricity, the big crisis, we have had a concrete bill in this direction, taxing added value when we have removed the value added tax in this direction, but unfortunately, the position has not approved for its anger and arrogance for the reason that we have proposed it at<1>.
Failure to adopt bills for political resentment from the position according to Lushtak is going to harm citizens, adding that some proposals come from the ruling party only to say “I have taken the initiative”.
“Absolutely affect citizens, we are seeing that price hikes, even price hikes, Kosovo's household baskets are always being made, and at a price of what they bought before the economic crisis they can already buy those products”.
The government is not taking any activity to change the pay Law to the public sector, but also private because the initiative that has it conflicts with the labour Law that needs to go through the economic-Social Council, and that kind of thing at the end of the day will not result successfully. Some activities she is taking in billing such as that one at the minimum wage have to do, just to say that I have taken the initiative, while at the end of the day they will not succeed and will have tremendous negative impact”, Lushtaku said.
Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP (AAK), Time Kadriaj, said how the opposition has voted all international agreements.
In addition, she said many international agreements in the period in which Vetevendosje was in the opposition have not voted, and are now bringing them to the Assembly themselves.
According to her, deputies in office are busy with official agendas and trips, so there are also the collection of bills waiting for a vote, EO reports.
“We are perceiving as opposition to the Vetevendosje movement as it has been in opposition because all initiatives are voting international agreements because we know they're good for citizens because they increase the well-being of citizens because there are important projects that opposition self-determination has not done. There are many international agreements that in the period of self-rule as it was in opposition, and now they're bringing it themselves to the Assembly to vote, and we as AAK have said that all international agreements that are in the interest of Kosovo we will vote at”.
Any bill that is for the military and everything that concerns the national agendas of Kosovo we vote on. While any initiative the opposition has received and any interference that none of it has been taken has been supported by the position. We also have the Trust bill where the position said it would not support. In addition to bills proposed by the opposition that they receive, they have the majority of votes and are behaving arrogantly and can pass. We are seeing that they are busy with the deputy agenda and official trips and the international collection of bills waiting for the vote, as is the auditing report, and we have an international agenda”, Kadriaj said.
