The last move was in April of this year, amounting to $32,000 ($1 m), $2000 more than in the previous year.
The most common developments year-on-year have been with 2,000 lek , expelled here only in 2021, with the impact of the pandemic period, the minimum wage changed by 40,000, the biggest change over the years.
In 2010, the minimum wage was $130,000 less than now, reaching a value of $19,000. Between 2011 and 2013, the minimum wage had a $10,000 increase each year, halting $22,000 in 2013.
This value remained constant for 5 years, changing to only 2018, where the minimum wage amounted to $24,000, reports the TCh.
During 2019 -20, minimum wages totaled $26,000 and remained constant again for two years, until 2021. It's been promised a 20,000-dollar increase in 2023.
Compared to the region, Albania is in place of the previous, leaving only Kosovo, which after debates approved the new minimum wage -- 250 euros. Montenegro holds first place at 533 Euro as minimum wage, followed by Serbia 401 Euro, North Macedonia 359 Euro and Bosnia and Herzegovina 300 Euros.
