Kurti on yesterday said she will cancel her trip to the Prespa Forum to hold meetings with veterans and discuss the minimum wage.
Kosovo Liberation Army veterans protested yesterday in the court of the Kosovo Assembly, as a sign of the principled adoption of the Bill for the minimum wage in the Assembly on June 14th, which does not include pension growth and veterans.
On June 14th, Kosovo's Assembly has in principle voted a bill, paving the way for minimum wage growth -- from 130-170 euros as it currently is, to 264 euros gross, or 250 euros net.
The bill no longer links the minimum wage to the value of the pension of war veterans, as it has been in the past.
The inclusion of veterans in the law for the minimum wage has been demanded by the opposition. They have refused to continue yesterday's Assembly session, claiming that there are no normal conditions until veterans are protesting in the Kosovo Assembly Court as a form of opposition to the decision not to include veterans in the law for minimum wage.
