While in Dublin, the head of The PDK has met with leaders of various member parties of the ALDE, deputies of the European Parliament, and attended the LIBSEEN meeting, where the PDK has been accepted as full-fledged members recently.
Header PDK, Memli Krasniqi, has also discussed the meeting of the ALDE Council, which is the organisation's highest decision-making body.
In his address to members of the ALDE Council, Mayor Krasniqi has discussed the political situation in Kosovo, our country's European aspirations, as well as presented developments and reforms in the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
“Western Balkans in general and Kosovo in particular should be included in plans to create a united Europe against the current challenges that are coming mainly from Russia and other states that do not share the same civilisation values.”, Krasniqi has said.
In this congress, Mayor Krasniqi has also submitted the will of the Democratic Party of Kosovo to become part of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats of Europe as a full-fledged party.
