Klink at a media conference said that “as we have not accepted the occupation, we do not accept discrimination or politicisation of the veterans' case 23 years after the war”.
The veterans' representative said that there has been nervousness at the meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, but said the government's chief has “politicising policyisation to the issue of veterans”.
“At the meeting with Prime Minister Kurti we have not found common language. Kurti continues to insist on his discriminatory positions with a policyist tendency towards the veterans' issue and failed to meet our requirement, which is minimal”, he said.
Klink said they will give government and Parliament deadlines until the day when the minimum wage appointment bill will be introduced into the agenda for second review.
“The prime minister has promised that he will come up with proposals to resolve this issue, and we have given this government and the Assembly”, he said.
It is time to improve this government-proposed error. We give them until second reading to improve the error of veterans' discrimination with minimum wage. If discrimination remains part of the law on minimum wage, then today we warn protest on the day the Assembly session is held for the second review”, Klink said.
He in advance stressed that their latest protest made “force the government to sit with us”.
