Hoti: Why Minister Murati is not reducing T V The Department for Essential Products, as the Law permits

Former Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has made a letter regarding the increase in prices for food products, which he says the Law allows VAT reduction in essential products, Periscopi broadcasts.

According to him, however, this possibility is not being used by the Ministry of Infrastructure.

Article 26 of the Law for the T VSH, point 2, determines the list of goods for which the reduced rate of T is paid VSH of 8%, including water, electricity, cereals and their products, milk and its products, eggs, textbooks, IT equipment, medicines and medical equipment. This law was adopted in 2015 by the Mustafa government, as part of Packos Fiscal 1.

Meanwhile, point 3 of the same article specifys that: ” Minister of Finance may issue sub-legal action to expand the list of products reduced by Addjca III of this law” Addique III contains the list of food goods for human and animal consumption, seeds, plants, and many other goods for which T can be reduced V S from 18% to 8%.

It is incomprehensible why, after many months of price surges, the finance minister does not reduce T V S. out of 18% to 8% even for these goods, so that at least the burden will be lowered for families.

Someone had to tell the Minister of this possibility that the Law is providing for VAT! !
