Foreign citizen found dead near mosque in Vremica

The victim found near the village mosque is suspected to be a citizen of Syria.

The case has been confirmed by Kosovo Police spokesman for the Prizren region, Vesel Gashi.

He said the site of the event has all relevant units, including the state prosecutor, investigators from the Law Medicine Institute and representatives of the Republic of Albania police.

Albania's investigative organs have been at the scene together with Kosovo's because the event has occurred at the border line with Albania.

“At around 4:22 today, a lifeless body has been found near Prizren's Vermica village mosque, which is suspected to be foreign national”.

All relevant units are at the scene, including the state prosecutor, investigators from the IML, as well as representatives of the Albanian Republic of Albania's police, Gashi said. /Telegrapher
