This commission headed by MP The PDK, Hajdar Beqa, was initiated by the ruling party, Vetevendosje Movement, requires that energy sector activities be investigated in the 2006-2022 period.
These include investigating capital investments in the Kosovo Energy Corporation following the privatisation of the distribution in this company.
Kosovo Assembly MPs have voted to establish two investigative power commissions during the May 5th session, during which there was heated debate.
An investigative commission has been initiated by the largest opposition Democratic Party of Kosovo, and the same will be led by Democratic League of Kosovo deputy Driton Selmanaj.
