The governments of Kosovo and Albania will meet on 20 June. It is learned that the meeting between the two cabinets will be held in Kosovo.
The latest meeting of Kosovo governments- Albania was held in late November in Elbasan, where several agreements were signed.
The joint gathering of Kosovo and Albanian governments has a seven-year history.
Over the years, 86 agreements, memorandums and co-operation protocols have been signed, with most of them unmet.
The first meeting was held on 11 January 2014 in Prizren, where the prime ministers of Albania and Kosovo, Edi Rama and Hashim Thaci, named the event historic for both countries and signed the declaration for strategic partnership.
After Thaci would be former Prime Minister Isa Mustafa to come to Tirana and along with Rama at the March 23rd 2015 meeting would sign 5 agreements, 4 memorandums and 2 co-operation protocols.
Tradition continued on June 3rd 2016 in Pristina, where former Prime Minister Mustafa was the host.
Later, with the motto “One land -- a people -- a dream of” gathering 4 of the two governments was held in Korca on November 27, 2017, where Prime Minister Rama stood at the side of Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
A year later the same prime ministers continued their meeting in the town of Pec on November 26th.
Under the cross-border “slogan, the sixth October 2nd 2020 meeting was held in Tirana, where Kosovo's prime minister was Avdula Hoti.
