Kosovo police have announced today that they have accepted information about a bomb at Pristina airport “Adem Jashari”, where they have later taken all necessary measures and evacuated citizens.
We remember that even early this month the bomb alarm went off at Pristina Airport, but it turned out to be false.
Full police announcement:
Kosovo police, on the date 16.06.2022 in the afternoon through the media office of the International Airport “Adem Jashari” has accepted information on explosive threats at the airport.
Based on the accepted information, Kosovo Police have immediately undertaken all necessary police measures and actions in the function of handling and investigating this case, engaging the relevant police units, including those for handling explosive matter and unit being (K-9).
Kosovo police have also taken concrete action by evacuing persons/citizens into security perimeters, as long as they continue their engagement in co-operation and co-ordination with other relevant institutions.
