The chief of the US diplomatic mission in Kosovo said he is proud to join embassy staff and ambassadors in walking pride in the capital.
“Krenar, who joined the staff of the Embassy, diplomatic body colleagues and most importantly Kosovo citizens in #ecjenrenaria today in Pristina. We recognise and celebrate the power of Kosovo's diversity and the contribution of LGBQI+ persons here in Kosovo and worldwide”, he wrote.
In support of the LGBTIQ+ community came German Ambassador Jorn Rohde, US Ambassador Jeffrey Hovenier, former Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga, Vlora Citaku from PDK, Sile Halimi from the LDK and Pristina chairman Pristina Progress Rama.
But it appears that President Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti did not appear.
Unlike the chief executive, several VV deputies participated in the parade. Ministers Hajrula Ceku, Arberie Nagavci, Artane Rizvanolli and deputies Dimal Basha, Mimoza Kusari-Lila of Victory Pacolli were seen in support of the hikers.
