Activated President Osmani, meets Ambassador Havenier and gives the topic of Kosovo strategic dialogue- United States

Reports have been issued on the official website of the presidency of the Republic of Kosovo. For meeting with EULEX chief in announcing the presidency, it is said to have been discussed the latest developments in the country and for the co-operation of Kosovo institutions with international ones in various areas.

The topics affected at the Osmani-Wigermark meeting are implementation of the Istanbul Convention and the Veting Process in Kosovo.

“President Osmani praised the support EULEX offers in fighting gender-based violence, namely in the mission's work on providing assistance to local institutions for implementation of the Istanbul Convention. With Mr. Wigemark, President Osmani also discussed the rule of the law, praising the importance of property in the justice system with the necessary constitutional and legal changes as necessary to strengthen rule of law by respecting the highest international standards in this process”, the report said.

As long as the meeting with US Ambassador Havenier from the presidency has been under regular meetings, while President Osmani has also raised the topic of strategic dialogue between Kosovo and the United States, writes Express.

The “meeting has been discussed for developments in the country and the region under continued co-ordination between Kosovo and the US.

With the American ambassador, President Osmani has raised the issue of strategic dialogue between Kosovo and the US”, the Presidency's announcement said.
