World Food Programme Executive Director David Beasley said that increasing hunger would increase at least 47 million people to 276 million that “marsh hunger” before Russia's invasion of its smaller neighbour, Aljazeera writes.
Beasley said at a UN Security Council meeting Thursday that 49 million people in 43 countries already “are knocking on the hunger door”.
