The fight against Russia will reach a turning point by mid-August and will be completed by the end of the year, Ukraine's military intelligence head, Major General Kyrylo Budanov, has predicted.
“The fault point will be in the second part of August. Most active combat shares will have been completed by the end of this year. As a result, we will renew Ukrainian power in all our territories that we have lost, including Donbas and Crime”, Budanov said.
He said Russia was undergoing major losses in an interview for Sky News.
“Europe views Russia as a major threat. They're afraid of her aggression. We have been fighting Russia for eight years and we can say that this highly advertised Russian power is a myth. It's not as powerful as it is. There's a crowd of people with guns”, Budanov said.
General Majori also voiced confidence that the Russian defeat in Ukraine would lead to the departure of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and that a coup was already under way against him but that provided no evidence to support the claim.
