The Ukraine Embassy in Belgrade has declared that they do not approve or condemn the statements of Kiev chairman Vitali Klitschko for the Swiss newspaper Le Canton 27, where he said they would fight to be freed from Russia as if Kosovo had been released from Serbia.
The Ukrainian Embassy has said that Klitschko as if every citizen has the right to express himself freely but that fails to see Ukraine's foreign policy position, says KosovoOnline.
“Klitschko, as every citizen of Ukraine, has a guaranteed right to the Ukrainian Constitution for freedom of thought and word, for free expression of his views and beliefs. Ukraine's principled position for its position on Serbia's territorial integrity and sovereignty is well known”, an embassy statement said.
The embassy stresses that it wants to secure its friends, who support Ukraine in this difficult time and have not forgotten the support of the Ukrainian people in all difficult moments for Serbia, not to worry.
“Ambada must also declare that the situation unfortunately reflects the extremely low level of contacts between the partner cities of Kiev and Belgrade, which we have today. For our part, we want to attract once again the attention of all those with authority and competence to sell the T-shirt with the symbol of Russian aggression quez, as well as its presence on many walls of Belgrade buildings, which for Ukrainians is a symbol of Russian aggression and means a Ukrainian<1>. It says in the embassy statement.
