Three bills will be reviewed and parliamentary debate on government work in the first year of its mandate will be debated.
And one of the points in the order of the day is the first review of the Bill for Change and Fulfilling Laws that determine the amount of benefits at the height of the minimum wage, the procedures of the minimum wage assignment, and tax steps in annual personal income.
Vetevendosje MP Amen Munja has said they expect opposition from opposition P DK-LDK-AAK regarding this bill.
I predict opposition from opposition P DK-LDK-AAK with different reasonings, but the reality is this lack of political courage and their dependence on big business. The PDK will object to minimal growth with the argument that it is not linked to veterans' benefits ʹ that does not stand because it was the PDK-LDK that explained the minimum-defeed veterans at a 30.12.2016 session. The most real reasons for the PDK's opposition appear at the Haradinaj Government meeting of 18.04.2019 through the ministers Hamza, Beqaj and Hoxhaj the minimum wage defines the private sector itself. From the AAK since the Assembly session of 17.04.2019 had promised minimum wage of 239 euros, but had never realised, I expect to use Faithful Tahiri to mourn why the minimum wage is not 400 euros”, he wrote among other things.
The Kosovo government has adopted the bill, which sets the minimum wage at 250 euros worth of net or 264 euros gross.
The minimum wage in Kosovo was 170 euros for over 35 years of age and 130 euros under 35 and has not changed since 2011.
