Indian residents have been facing the fifth heat wave since March.
Officials have urged residents to take precautions, as temperatures may increase even more.
They have warned that heat can cause health problems for those who are more vulnerable, including babies, older ones, and people with chronic problems.
Earlier this month, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged ministers to plan to reduce the impact of the big heat, as temperatures have increased faster than usual.
Although high temperatures are common in India, especially in May and June, summer started earlier this year, as the first heat wave was reported in March.
The average temperature for a month has been the highest in 122 years.
The Centre for Science and Environment, an institute dealing with these issues, has said heat waves this year have affected 15 regions, including Himachal Pradesh, who is known for the pleasant temperatures.
