It has started with debate and tension today's plenary session of the Kosovo Assembly.
The procedure on delaying parliamentary debates on the security situation in the country and the 1-year work of the Kurti Government was used by AAK parliamentary group chief Besnik Tahiri for addressing criticism of the majority in the legislature.
After taking word to file the procedure motion, Tahiri asked the majority for the noise and non-conventional methods used at last session.
Beating the water bottled Assembly speaker, Tahiri said it should be taken in order for the government to bring the draft salary to the Assembly.
“A should get the bottle to hit it like this to find out and bring the laws you have. Should you hit the table to say bring the salary law? Do you understand that these methods, this language and noise are not for this assembly. My request is to stop non-conventional methods and turn into a sound logic of discussion”, he said.
But harsh in response was expressed by Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca, who told Tahiri that he misused the Parliament's folk.
Mr. Tahir just mishandled the Parliament's folks, so you're not. You're wrong, I gave you my word about something else, and we learned what's worse. Tell me you're going to talk about a parliamentary investigative commission, so the assembly goes this way”, he stressed.
With the PDK Parliamentary Group's chief proposal, Abelard Tahiri was postponed parliamentary debate on the 1st anniversary of the work of Kurti Government, while it was decided that at the end of the agenda provisions there will be a consensus for maintaining parliamentary debate on the security situation in Kosovo.
At the beginning of the plenary hearing, MPs held a minute of silence in honour of former boxer Dzevdet Peci, who passed away a few days ago.
