Captain Adam Khamkhoyev, 30-year-old commander of the paramilitary unit, was killed Friday evening in Ukraine and later buried in Russia's southern province of Ingashia.
Khamkhoyev's death marks the first case of the murder of a relative of a Putin official since the beginning of Ukraine's Russian occupation.
The commander's body returned to its homeland immediately, unlike other cases when the victim's body was returned in a few weeks or months.
Russia has not detailed where or how Khamkhoyev was killed. /Periscopi/
