Sergeant brutally beaten police in Pec, arrested by IPK

Investigators of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK) have arrested a police official in Pec, with the rank sergeant, under suspicion that the same has committed criminal work “heavy bodily launch” and “characterisation”, against a police official. The IPK's first information regarding the case had been accepted by Kosovo Police in Pec that a police official (with the rank of sergeant) outside the official position is involved as suspected in a case of serious bodily injury.
“The IPK investigators have come to the scene and, in co-ordination with the Guardian Prosecutor, took some investigative action, while the victim (police officials) has been sent for medical treatment”, the IPK reports.
Following these investigative actions, the prosecutor's decision police official has been assigned the 48-hour ban on suspicion that he has committed criminal work “heavy bodily implementation” and “outreach”.
Regarding the same case, as part of administrative and investigative procedures, the police official has been suspended.
“IPK investigators are expected to take other investigative actions towards lighting up all circumstances in this case”, the report said.
