Serbs: War in Ukraine is invented and imposed by NATO

Those in the Kosovo Press News Agency poll say war is not good, no matter where it happens, but are reluctant to accept Russia and Putin as guilty for what is happening in Ukraine.

Some argue that they are not informed about this issue and do not understand much from politics, and others go as far as they blame America and NATO for the war there.

Branimir Krstic, journalist and political analyst, has indicated that most Kosovo Serbs are pro-Russian and support what is happening in Ukraine.

According to him, this happens because of their degritifying attitude that the Russians and Serbs are brothers.

The overwhelming majority of Serbs in Kosovo are pro-Russian stays and support what is happening in Ukraine. I think that at this moment it is more than appropriate for the community to understand that the attitude towards what is happening in Ukraine could be inconsistent for the survival of Serbs in the Balkans. Taking into account that Russia is already busy with the Asian part and part of Eastern Europe, for Serbia now is the time to bring down the right decision and whether it will return to prehistoric times, or to join civilisation and the civilized world”, analyst Krstic explained.

Svetlana Jankovic, retired from northern Mitrovica, claims the war is not good wherever it happens, but does not expand more for details.

Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine early Thursday morning, bombing cities and military bases from air and land, while Ukrainian residents flocked to trains to flee. Meanwhile, Serbia has not condemned the Russian genocide in Ukraine, nor has it imposed sanctions.
