Commenting on Kosovo's interest in membership in the Council of Europe, Sekalovic stressed that “is not a secret that Pristina has the support of most Council of Europe member states, but does not have principles on its side”.
“Anyone who thinks we're going to sit back if Washington and Brussels agreements are brutally violated, said Sakkovic, N1.
He further stated that “would activate any possible policy of protecting the interests of the state of Serbia and the Serbian people in Kosovo”.
We remember that Russia was expelled from the Council of Europe weeks ago, and in this form Kosovo has eased its path to membership, as the Russians could block through veto deployment.
By contrast, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has declared during a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq that he hopes Serbia will not abandon the Council of Europe when Kosovo becomes part of this organisation. /Telegraphy/
