“The defendant Y.B. allegedly took part in the war in Syria, fighting under terrorist organisations “Abal al- Nustra and sywalla Islamya) [Islamic State], with what the same one allegedly carried out high criminal acts of”, says at the Constitutional Court's announcement.
Meanwhile, H. S, allegedly committed the criminal act: “Bashkim or participation in the military or foreign police, in paramilitary or pre-police external formations in group or individual organisations outside the territory of the Republic of Kosovo”.

In 2015, Kosovo adopted a special law sanctioning participation in foreign wars, with sentences of up to 15 years in prison.
Kosovo, with the help of the United States, has restored over 100 of its citizens -- mainly women and children -- who had been in conflict areas in Syria.
On 28 May, through a joint operation with Albania and with US support, Kosovo repatriated two of its citizens from Syria.
In reports issued by the Constitutional Court in Pristina, there is no indication whether these two arrested are the people who returned two days ago from Syria, already in the May 28th announcement, Interior Affairs Minister Xhelal Svechla did not provide details to the repatriated.
