The PDK and the AAK say that the meeting of Prime Minister Kurti with President Vuciq in Berlin is continuous of routine meetings, and less beneficial for the state of Kosovo.
Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy (PDK), Mergim Lushtaku, has said the government chief has forgotten his principles provided during the election campaign.
He has said that as a Parliamentary Group, he will seek interference over what has been discussed at this meeting.
“Of course we haven't discussed it yet as a Parliamentary GP, but of course we have the impression that he ( Kurti) has completely changed from the principles he had before coming to power, has forgotten the apology that was his principle of going out and meeting President Vuciq, has forgotten the missing, the found and all the principles he set out to. For me as an MP is disturbing how a political leader has such arrogant and hypocritical behaviour as Prime Minister Kurti”, Lushtaku has said.
Lushtaku has called Prime Minister Kurti hypocritical, adding that the meeting in Berlin is more suspicious because the meeting is called <x0form “”.
The “is a major hypocrisy of a political leader who is clearly doing it for the prime minister's chair, and in this position we believe that the Parliamentary Group will also seek interference with what is discussed at this meeting and to see what is agreed on at this informal meeting, which makes it even more suspicious. We basically do not oppose any meeting, but we certainly keep literally what he himself said and more than we hold as opposition, of course they will keep VV supporters and all the citizens who have based on the last elections”, Lushtaku said.
“Of course, for me, I have been pro Albin Kurt to keep his words because he has had a contract with his citizens who have trusted him and that contract regardless of how to follow the road to the dialogue with Serbia, basically he has to keep his word to the citizens who trusted him”, he said.
And the deputy of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Pal Lekaj, sees yesterday's meeting as routine and not beneficial for the state of Kosovo. He has said Kosovo needs a final dialogue with mutual recognition.
“Po as far as such meetings are concerned, they are more routine than they are for the state of Kosovo, for the conclusion of the talks, and this is going on for years, and especially in this government that has not really given particular importance to dialogue, and it is now seen as having different levels but without concrete results. Kosovo needs a final dialogue with mutual recognition and without those Kurdish meetings”, Lekaj said.
Not only did he break them but he violated the principles of the VV. You know it was the “cause. No, Negociata, Vetevendosje” and in this direction all the principles he has promised, he has violated them with two feet and I think it's not much expected of this government”, Lekaj said. /EO
