Muhariri: Unlike the past, dialogue in total blockades

The country's knowledge of developments, Artan Mujajiri, has said that perhaps in the past after each blockade there is an agreement in order to be a kind of hope to continue with dialogue, but according to this time there is a total blockade.

“Sometimes it's better to have no dialogue at all than to have non-effective dialogue because it loses the logic of making dialogue. So it's totally strange this lack of will by both sides, for a matter that is almost technical and can only be predicted how much work and commitment will be needed to reach any larger agreement or to be drawn towards the final agreement”, has highlighted the Mujagiri on the “day performance in RTK.

According to him, there is currently no one who can expect that this year there will be any more rapid development in Brussels' dialogue.

Unfortunately, we will have to wait until next year. However, this continuation is negative for Kosovo citizens because all European advancement depends on dialogue in Brussels. Even our Aletats are vigorously insisting on dialogue. Without dialogue there is no development and progress. Unfortunately, the blockade exists and I don't know how it's going to go any further or it needs a full reform of the dialogue, which there are no indicators from the EU or completely disrupting this dialogue officially, because it doesn't make sense to go to the table and there is no reconciliation either on issues that are technical”, it added Muhramir.

He has said the situation between Kosovo and Serbia is complex, but there must be a will and courage to move forward, but that this is currently not being seen by the parties in the dialogue.

The problem between Kosovo and Serbia is century-old and historical, there are wars, there are thousands of victims, so it's not a simple conflict, it's not a simple blockade, and I don't agree with Prime Minister Kurti trying to simplify it, for the very fact that we are at this level, then the situation is extremely complex. If it were that simple, then one of the previous leaders would choose it, but it's very complex that it has a lot of interests. Not only the interest of Kosovo and Serbia, but the interest of Europe, the US and Russia, so it is a mosaic of interests, and as long as these are not harmonised, it is hard to get ahead of”, Muhramir is expressed away.

He has said that as long as dialogue is blocked both the visa liberalisation issue and the advance European perspective, but also any major funds will be blocked because these are conditional on progress in dialogue.
