KEDS launched a “Technological Girl Girls TECH” program

Girls selected from the Professional Middle Schools of Informatics and 12th-grade Gymnasies officially set off a new route, which KEDS has designed under KEDS Academy, as one of the most important projects in Kosovo's education sector.

After the programme is completed, for participants who reach the highest level of professional advancement will be the door open for employment in the company as well.

The chief executive chief of the KED, at the same time the initiator of the project, Alpin Dogan, said the KED intends that through programmes and development activities, it will contribute to the professional advancement of young people in Kosovo, and this advancement serves in their career and integration into the labour market as easily as possible.

I am extremely proud that on the very 9th anniversary of KED's operation as a company, another particular project is being launched within KEDS Academy. Our goal as a company is to help more young people with basic services. This is happening with the Girls T program. ECH, through which we are pushing young girls towards empowering the advancement in the field of Information Technology”, he said.

Meanwhile, ECDS Director for Quality, Security and Training Valbona Kadrijaj indicated that this programme was designed to serve girls as a boost and help them find themselves in a career in technology.

Under this programme we aim to help professional development of girls, increase youth employment at the country level, and increase gender representation within the company and community. The idea of drafting this programme is born from the need for programming profession, a highly sought profession in the labour market, also valued, as well as a profession that can be exercised by girls”, she said.

Meanwhile, the coach at the company, who will care for the management of training for girls, Seb Rodiqi, expressed satisfaction that a programme of this nature is being realised by the KED company and spoke about the content of the programme at short points.

I believe that you will be satisfied with the realisation of this program and I believe very much that will help you in the future profession, but also in further research,” Rodiqi said.

And one of the examples of success for students and students -- Sidirela Dodaj, former KEDS student Academy and now engineer at KEDS -- told of her experience and the possibilities KED has offered in her professional and career advancement.

Girls T The ECH is also being realised as the company's pledge to empower the role of women in companies and communities, with the signing of 7) UN Women's principles that have to do with improving the position of women in the work environment.
