Jasharaj term 15 days government before general strike

The United Education, Science and Culture Union (SBASHK) has warned general strike if within 15 days the Government of Kosovo does not meet their demands on the Law of Salaries. SBASK Chairman Beftman Jasharaj has said that the last chance to have a dialogue with Government is [...]
The SBASK chairman, Nundman Jasharaj, has said of Online Economy that the last chance to have a dialogue with Government is the legal mediator, who has to send the Government a letter and insist on dialogue.
He has also talked about the May 20th strike, saying he has been analysed in detail for further steps.
The question of the wage law for us remains unknown because we have not had meetings with competent people who know what is being done with the wage law. On the other hand, within the BSPK we have analysed the last protest on May 20th and agreed on what the next steps will be. Based on the law on strikes, which is said to be the obligation of trade unions that before going to the final step of the general strike, the legal mediator should engage, which as such will send the letter to the prime minister with the request to start with dialogue between the government and trade unions. B The SPK has also sent through this letter mediator and we have to wait 15 days for the government to say the same commitment or not”, he has told EO.
The chief union is not as trusting the Government so much, saying the latter could avoid dialogue. Jasharaj considers any action to be taken as union legal.
If he says no then it's considered by the strike law that any action we take away is legal. If he says yes to the insistence on dialogue then he'll start dialogue and we can't determine how long this dialogue can last because the government can avoid dialogue. We took the last step before the general strike by respecting the strike law. We will make decisions with the BSKP about what we do next. After all these union acts of protest and May 20th strikes, think and prepare for general strike, but all depends on how the Government will conduct the strike law requiring mediation. The deadline is for the government within 15 days to say yes or no to the enforcement of the law on strikes”, Jasharaj has said.
