IPK interviews five police officials, two suspended from duty

According to the report, the IPK has been informed about a case allegedly that several border police officials are suspected of abuse of office and based on information they possess, The IPK has taken investigative action where police officials have been involved in an operational plan and during the implementation of this plan, suspected of concessions by responsible officials.

As a result of the IPK investigations, five police officials involved in the case have been interviewed and two officials of the Regional Border Directorate in the East, one of whom was the major ranking.

IPK investigators in co-ordination with the State Prosecutor will continue to take other investigative actions towards full enlightenment of all circumstances related to the case.
