International Climate Protection Day

Until today the International Climate Protection Day is marked, temperatures on earth's surface have increased by one degree since the beginning of industrialization. This is the result of estimates performed by the British meteorological service. If the planet continues to warm up, the effects of climate change will reach catastrophic proportions, climate experts predict.
Researchers believe that the most serious consequences of climate change will be avoided unless the earth is warmed by more than two degrees. Otherwise, the agreement signed in 2015 in Paris that directs the countries of the Western Balkans to review energy strategies can also be a key part of the commitment of these states towards integration into the European Union.
The agreement has not been signed by Kosovo because of the status it holds in relation to the United Nations Organisation, but it is pre-resistent for Kosovo to make changes in relation to the energy plan for environmental protection.
In Kosovo, no activity for this purpose has been envisioned.
