Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has been staying in the United States for more than 14 days. From the highest visit in the political context, only that is singled out with President Biden's top adviser, Mr. Jake Sullivan. Meanwhile, the prime minister's visits to the United States so far are marked by various meetings in technology sector companies, taxis, exchanges with exiles and so on. One of the visits presented as quite spectacular was that in Microsoft.
And for this visit, the vice president of the PawerPoint programme in Microsoft, Mr. Shaw Villaro.
Villaro, through an announcement a few days ago, reported on the visit of Prime Minister Kurti to the giant American company's Campus.
On Tuesday, I had the honour of showing Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, our new Mircorosft Campus in the Silicon Valley”, he wrote, adding further that we talked about the goals of our Campus about co-operation in innovation, support of the welfare of the workers, strengthening the community”.
A Kosovo citizen has asked Mr. Villaro a question, telling him if Kosovo can expect anything from such a visit.
Must the newest country in Europe, as well as the country with the youngest age expect anything in particular, like a Microsoft branch in Pristina for South East Europe? Co-operation with our technology companies?
This is out of my jurisdiction. Our visit really was an opportunity to share our confession to campus with the prime minister. This was one of the main events of my career in Microsoft. We were extremely grateful that he was able to separate an hour from his time to meet with us”, he writes.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Kurti has announced that at the meeting with Microsoft officials, he has informed Kosovo of the potential in the IT field.
