Since 2018, there were almost 140 ancient pyramids in Egypt, most of which had been built as tombs for rulers.
In 2012, architects began to calculate how much they would have to invest in the construction of a “build such” today. The dimensions of structures, materials used, and other shades are considered.
The Capops Pyramid, also known as the Great Pyramid of Giza, was used as an example. According to historians, it was built about 4000 years ago. At the end of the job, the height of the facility reached 146m.
Under the influence of a number of factors, including natural ones, the figure has changed to 138m. The pyramid was built using 2.3 million stones, each weighing about 3 tons. The total measure of the facility is estimated by experts at 6.5m tonnes. Construction lasted at least 20 years, although deadlines change.
Jean-Pierre Houdin, an architect from France, is convinced that it is quite possible to build such a large pyramid now, though this is not an easy task.
This would include modern types of equipment, including a crane. Because of the height of the structure, the top would have been lifted by attracting helicopters. They are now actively used during the construction of rock and bridges.
By modern means, the process would take about five years. It would take as many as 2,000 experts to attract, which is a modest figure compared with the number of people involved in the construction of pyramids in ancient Egypt.
Taking into account the cost of materials, workers, and other necessities, the initiative would cost about $5 billion. Such a cost is not entirely excessive. For example, Manhattan's World Trade Center is worth $4 billion.
