The country's protest and destabilisation have warned war-free organisations. This threat could become a reality if the NLA veterans are excluded from the increase in the country's minimum wage bill.
Xhavit Jashari, who heads the Association of Family Witnesses of the KLA, says opposition will do so in different forms.
“If veterans are not included in the minimum wage, and the veterans' benefit increases, our reactions will be in different forms, starting with protests and all that happens and we regret it if it comes to the destabilisation of Kosovo because they have the brighter category that has made a lot of sacrifice”, KLA Family Association Chairman Xhavit Yashar said about, RTV Dukagini.
If veterans are not included in the minimum wage, and the employment of veterans does not increase, our reactions will be in different forms, starting with protests and all that happens, and we are very sorry if it comes to the destabilisation of Kosovo because the brighter category which has made a lot of sacrifices” is being punished, Jashar said.
The KLA Veterans' Organisation has not yet been set a date for protests.
But according to the organisation's leader-in-chief, Faton Klink, they will not withdraw from their request.
“Call for protest will masovically and we will expect as many veterans as possible to participate in this protest, which is not meant to last only one hour, but when we go out in protest, we will remain in it until we achieve the goal. He seems to have a anger on us, but he needs to know that we can't be pushed back with him, because we have the biggest anger, and if he goes on like this, Kurt won't be able to achieve his goal”, Klink has said.
The Bill's vote on the minimum wage has been postponed for one of the next Assembly sessions, as there was no quorum Friday for his approval.
