Denmark has become the first Nordic country to reopen its embassy in Kiev, more than two months after Moscow launches military aggression against Ukraine.
Foreign Minister Gjpe Kofod visited the Ukrainian capital today and raised the Danish flag at the embassy building.
“I just raised the flag at the Danish embassy in Kiev. The important step that today we reopen the embassy after Russia's attack. Moving to meet local employees and Danish people who have been in the capital for the past two months”, he wrote on Twitter.
Otherwise, the embassy will continue working with a reduced number of employees and will gradually return to full staff.
